Contributing to Canada’s Jewish communities

“Not only did UIA’s session encourage and inspire me, it also helped foster a feeling of unity and support of smaller Jewish communities. We had a chance to share and explore resources that can be used immediately. Finally, it infused each of us with a ‘can-do’ spirit and attitude.” – Participant in Canadian Jewish conference

Federation CJA contributes to strengthening the broader Jewish community across Canada. Montreal has, along with other communities, a national collective responsibility to ensure that needs of Jews across the country are met.

Federation’s national contribution also ensures that communal interests are defended at the national, provincial and local levels, including the advocacy agencies Quebec Jewish Congress and Quebec Israel Committee.
Acting nationally strengthens advocacy for social, political and human rights, promoting greater understanding and tolerance and fostering collective well-being.
