Our Montreal Jewish community has been exceptional in supporting Israel in good times and bad. Our research shows that fully three out of every four Montreal Jews have visited Israel, that sixteen per cent said visiting Israel had “the most impact on their life as a Jew,” and that this figure rose to 28 per cent among those between 18 and 24 years of age. In addition, eighty-two per cent of survey respondents agreed that Israel needs our financial support.
