The Wandering Stars are on a mission to help immigrant youth integrate into the Montreal community and to promote intercultural dialogue. The troupe, made up of a diverse group of young people between the ages of 15 and 20, stars in In Transit, a production of the Segal Centre for Performing Arts that is being staged at a variety of camps, parks, and community venues in and around Montreal this summer.

Each participant receives training in acting, singing, and dancing from the Segal Centre’s professional teacher-artists.

“In addition to giving youth the tools for intercultural harmony through the arts, this program is a unique mentorship opportunity because there are talented and respected artists working right alongside emerging talent,” said Bryna Wasserman, Artistic Director at the Segal Centre.
